This one doesn’t rush or hold back. The Karatoba Gordo is a 6x60 powerhouse built for slow movement and wide turns; a cigar that settles in early and deepens as it goes. With the Gordo, the transitions are longer, and each draw pulls a little more from the tobacco. The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed leaf with visible grain and leathery feel. It holds a firm Nicaraguan binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The cigar leans into the savory side with charred spice, roasted herbs, and something close to pan-seared stewed meat. The medium-to-full-bodied profile thickens without getting muddy, with sweetness and earthiness to balance it out. Made at NACSA, this is the largest in the Karatoba line and the first OZ Family release to come from that factory.
