Foundation Menelik Petite Robusto cigars firs debuted as an event-only cigar in 2017, where the cigars were packaged in five-packs that could not be purchased—only handed out by Foundation owner Nick Melillo to special guests. Now, available everywhere, albeit in limited quantities, the blend consists of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a vintage Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder, and fully aged fillers from the Condega, Estelí and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua. These box-pressed 4.5 x 52 vitolas displays full-flavored notes of coffee, roasted peanuts, spice, and a rich dessert-like sweetness that softly lingers on the palate.
