Santa Clara Cigars is a premium cigar wholesale retailer that is a part of Tabacalera USA. They offer a large selection of premium handmade cigars to the retail community for a large amount of brands. They also carry several exclusive offerings from leading manufacturers that are typically made available to Tabacalera USA’s Casa de Montecristo and JR Cigar retail stores. Through Santa Clara, retailers are also able to obtain these cigars. At this years’ IPCPR, Santa Clara was showcasing two new exclusives.

First up is the Joya de Nicaragua Clasico. This is one of the oldest brands made by Joya de Nicaragua, which is the oldest factory in Nicaragua. This past November, Joya de Nicaragua announced it was repackaging the Clasico. Just prior to IPCPR, it was announced that Santa Clara would be handling the exclusive distribution for this legacy brand

Highlighted by an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, the cigar is available in six sizes presented in 25-count boxes: Churchill (6 7/8 x 48,), Consul (4 1/2 x 52), No. 6 (6 x 41,), Señorita (5 1/2 x 34,), Toro (6 x 50, ), and Torpedo (6 x 52).

Next up was the Crafted by Jaime Garcia, an exclusive offering from My Father Cigars to Santa Clara. The Crafted by Jaime Garcia gets its name from its blender Jaime Garcia, the son of Don Pepin Garcia. The cigar features a Habano Rosado wrapper over Nicaragua binder and filler.  Habano Rosado wrapper, the Crafted by Jaime Garcia is available in three sizes each presented in ten-count boxes: Robusto: (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52,), and Toro Gordo (6 x 60).

Jaime Garcia joins AJ Fernandez as blenders who have participated in Santa Clara’s Crafted By Series. Late in 2016, the Montecristo Crafted by AJ Fernandez was released. This would kick off one of many projects Fernandez would do with Tabacalera USA, including both Santa Clara and Altadis U.S.A. Santa Clara also has a Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez offering.
